The Vampire 2 accelerators were the best CPU accelerators for the Amiga available. The advanced Apollo 68080 CPU
gave them an unmatched performance. Dominating the Amiga accelerators market for about a decade, they are now replaced
by the more advanced V4 cards.
The FPGA manufacturer Altera has officially ended compiler support for older FPGA models. As a result, we are no longer able to provide ongoing updates with these aging FPGAS.
After many years of support, the limitations of the old FPGA hardware have made it impossible to implement further improvements. Because of this, the Apollo Team is no longer able to release updates for the V2 core.
